NOTES
Alvard Karapetyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia. In 1988, she moved to Cyprus.
Alvard studied Art and Culture at the International University in Yerevan and in 1978 she continued her studies in the Art and Sculpture Academy in Moscow. She had numerous exhibitions around the world including, Germany, California, Moscow and Cyprus.
Artist’s statement
My art practice focuses on the feeling, vivid colours intertwining with the shapes to create a harmonious piece for the viewer. A combination of cubism and surrealism, where the human form meets the senses through art.
