Sell your art through Cypria Auctions

CYPRIA FINE ART AUCTIONS

Our forthcoming auction will take place on the 17th of April 2024.
The catalogue for this auction will be soon available on our website.

Another fine art sale will follow our April auction and will take place mid-June. For our June auction we are still inviting entries.

Please consign as early as possible to secure inclusion of your items.

In our June 2024 sale we plan to include
Greek, Cypriot and International art including paintings, watercolours, mixed media art, drawings, prints as well as sculpture. Collectible photographs, rare books and old maps may also be considered.

Consigning your property with us – Requesting a valuation
We are happy to offer a free valuation for items we consider worth including in our auction.
Please note that if some of your items do not fall into a property category or value level that Cypria currently handles for sale, we will not be able to suggest an estimate or provide other information.

STEP 1 – Photography
Email us at least one photograph of the whole artwork, as well as some detailed shots to show important details such as signatures. If the artwork is a painting and it is possible, send us also a photograph of the reverse.

STEP 2 – Description
Some useful information we need to know includes the artist name if known, the title of the artwork, the medium if known, dimensions (if the artwork is a painting do not include the frame when measuring), any documentation or paperwork (for example a “Certificate of Authenticity” if there is one), and tell from where or how you acquired the artwork from.

STEP 3 – Submit
Submit the photographs and the descriptions to us by email and provide us also with your contact details. If the photographs you are going to send to us are numerous or high resolution, we suggest you use one of the free programs to do so, for example www.wetransfer.com instead of sending them to us by email.
PLEASE NOTE – By appointment only, you may also bring your items to be considered for inclusion to our gallery. Having any relevant information we may need with you will be of great help. For example the Certificate of Authenticity if there is one, any known details of where the artwork was purchased or acquired from, etc.
