Doros Partasides was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1944.
He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and he is a member of F.I.A.P. and the Cyprus Photographic Society.
He was elected as Artistic F.I.A.P. in 1974 for contributors in the field of photograph and exhibited works at 6 International and 4 Pancyprian photographic exhibitions.
In 1970 Doros Partasides was awarded the F.I.A.P. Gold Medal.
His photographs of the events of 1974 in Cyprus had been the inspiration for the artists who participated in the exhibition “Cyprus 1974 – Days of Disaster”.
