First Edition in English published simultaneously with the French edition, with four lithographs executed by Picasso for this work entitled: La Pique, Le Picador II, Jeu de la Cape and Les Banderilles. The four original Lithographs, 3 in black and 1 in 24 colours numbered in the plate from I to IV and dated 6.3.1961were printed by Mourlot Freres. These are accompanied by 103 black and white reproductions, and a text by Jaime Sabartes. A good hardcover copy with strong bindings in deep red cloth stamped in jet black with bull and horse rider on front cover preserved in its original casing. Oblong format (25 x 32cm). 153 pages.
