Nikolaos Magiassis studied painting at The School of Fine Arts, Athens, under Dimitrios Geraniotis, Spyros Vikatos and Georgios Jakobides.
He painted portraits and still lifes in an academic manner, landscapes and seascapes in a more impressionistic language.
Nikolaos Magiassis exhibited his work in a number of solo and group exhibitions in Greece.
