Notes
Dimitrios Kokkoris studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Dimitrios Biskinis, Spiros Vikatos and Konstantinos Parthenis. His paintings are distinguished by their lyrical impressionism and are related to the paintings of Parthenis, with whom he became close friends. Kokkoris held numerous solo exhibitions. His work can be found in the National Gallery as well as many other museums and private collections in Greece and abroad.
