This first edition rare book contains numerous illustrations along with 4 large copper engraved plans one of which is the extremely rare map of Cyprus “Isle de Cipre” which was engraved H. Raignauld and designed to illustrate the presence of the Knights of St John of Jerusalem on the island after their expulsion from the Holy Land in 1291. (Stylianou 110).

Condition: The book in in reasonably good condition considering its age of nearly 500 years. There is some fraying of the leather binding and some water staining on pages at the later third of the book.
