Dimitris Constantinou was born in Alexandria in 1924 to Greek Cypriot parents.
He studied artistic metalwork at the Italian Technical School Don Bosco. He exhibited his work extensively in numerous solo and group exhibitions, most significantly at the 1970 Alexandria Biennale where he was awarded the 2nd prize in sculpture.
