Chrysanthos Diamantakis was born in Nicosia, he is a painter and a draughtsman. He studied painting, academic drawing, etching, and byzantine iconography at the Athens School of Fine Arts in Greece. After studying and working for several years in Athens , he returned to Cyprus where he continued his studies and acquired a bachelor?s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Nicosia.

His work can be found in private collections in Greece and Cyprus. Chrysanthos currently lives and works at his studio in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Artist’s statement
My work focuses on the human form and its emotions. Though most of my work includes people from my close surrounding and family members, I also work with people that I meet in my daily routine as well as professional models.
