Baccarat Crystal since it was founded in 1764 in the town of Baccarat, France has been producing high-end exclusive crystal products and is unquestionably one of the top crystal brands in the world.
Many of the lots being offered at our auction (the glasses, the water pitchers and some of the wine decanters) belong to the same Baccarat pattern called “Vienne Gold Trim”.
This particular pattern is at the top end of the Baccarat patterns and was produced in the late 1980’s and discontinued in the mid 1990’s.
More than 500 different Baccarat patterns exist. The “Vienne Gold Trim” pattern can be recognized by the 24-carat gold trim on the lip and base of each item.
