Athina Morphi was born in Nicosia, Cyprus.

She is a self-taught artist who has been painting from the early age of 5. Parallel to her painting she is also involved in the fashion world as well as handicrafts.

When she lived for 10 years in Larnaca she was an active member of the ?Larnakart? group of artists.
Athina Morphi participated in numerous group exhibitions in Larnaca and Nicosia.

Artist’s statement
I draw my inspiration from nature which I consider the enchanting paradise of the mind. I believe that painting is a source of life expression and soul balm. Being left-handed I sign my works in Greek on the left side of the painting.
