Angie Vein is a Greek born in Georgia who has been living for the past fourteen years in Cyprus.

Even though Angie has always been painting for as long as she can remember, her ?proper? studies in art began under the artist Andreas Charalambous. She is currently studying at the University of Nicosia for her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Artist’s statement
My art practice consists mostly of Cyprus landscapes done ??En Plein-Air?. In a more abstract attempt of expressing the colour and texture in my latest art development, I use more pastel shade colours to depict clouds in a more vivid undertone. Composed on large-scale skies usually on wood or canvas using oil colour. I believe that my work communicates a part of my inner self-transformation and the urge to express whatever cannot be expressed with words or other mediums. An inner dialogue of the subconscious.
