Toula Mala was born in Cyprus, where she still lives and works.

Her work, ceramics, paintings and sculpture, deals with the human body.
Toula Mala starts from what is close, which is herself, and proceeds, observing bodily her sex, its relationship with the “self” and the opposite sex, and then with the world.

The woman plays the leading role in her work, a woman through the eyes of another woman.
Shape and colour are chosen in such a way that they serve and support the thematic content of the picture or ceramic sculptures.

Her work has been exhibited in Cyprus and London.
